I recently got my hands on Project X Zone 2 for my Nintendo 3DS and let me tell you, it has been the ultimate team up experience! I’ve been able to team up with classic characters from so many popular franchises, it’s like a dream come true. From SEGA to CAPCOM to BANDAI NAMCO, this game has it all. And let me just say, the active strategy battles are intense! I have to maneuver my characters into position and perform strategic attacks in real time. It’s like being in the middle of an epic battle!

My friend Bob was over the other day and we decided to give Project X Zone 2 a try. Let me just say, we were not disappointed. We spent hours playing and laughing as we battled our way through the game. The SEGA Smash feature was definitely one of our favorites. We got to play as characters from YAKUZA Dead Souls, “Sakura Wars” series, and “Virtua Fighter” series, just to name a few. It was like a trip down memory lane for us old school gamers.

I’ve always been a huge fan of CAPCOM games and when I heard they had characters in Project X Zone 2, I knew I had to get my hands on it. And boy did it deliver! From “Resident Evil” to “Devil May Cry” to “Mega man X”, all my favorite franchises were represented in this game. The CAPCOM commands were so much fun to use during battles. I felt like a total boss taking down enemies with my favorite characters.

Last but certainly not least is the BANDAI NAMCO crossing feature in Project X Zone 2. As someone who grew up playing Tekken and .hack// games, seeing those characters in this game was a major nostalgia trip for me. And with more characters from Tales of Vesperia and other popular BANDAI NAMCO franchises promised to come, I can’t wait to see what else this game has in store for me.
